Web
Site Submission Tips
Once
your web site is submitted to a search engine, the search
engine will then go scan your web site for information
to store for people to search on the Internet.
- Create meta
tags relevant to your web site's content. For
example, if your site is promoting a rental car agency,
you may want to use keywords like rental cars, travel,
vacation, tourism, etc. Click
here to use our Meta Tag Builder.
- Place most
relevant content closest to the top of your web pages.
It is important to include as many of the keywords you
listed in your meta tags in the beginning body text
of your web site.
- Use your keywords
in the content of your web pages. Many
search engines rate sites based on 'keyword density'.
This is usually a formula that looks at Meta Tag Keywords,
words in your TITLE, words in paragraph text, words
in links to other pages, and even words in the 'ALT'
text on your images.
